Marina's letter from Higher Education
Hi,
I gathered for you the latest news about whether or not visiting your desired school is a necessity! In this letter, I’ll tell you how school visits affect your chances of getting into the college of your choice.
I also have two videos that you will hopefully find helpful.
At the end of the letter, you will receive special offers for language courses in schools, which I personally checked for you, and recommend them!
Enjoy the reading,
Yours Marina
HIGHER EDUCATION
The college admissions process is year-round nowadays. With the cost of tuition being high it can be difficult to visit a campus before applying and you may think that this puts you at a disadvantage.
The truth is you're wrong. If you were unable to take a campus tour before the due date of your application you won't be penalized.
Admissions members understand that if you are an international student or live across the country it can be difficult and expensive and they don't expect you to in these scenarios.
But, if you live within the vicinity of the school you are trying to attend, stopping by for a tour won't exactly benefit you either. College admissions look at your accomplishments at school and at work, as opposed to if you are able to pay them a visit or not.
?
The visit would be more for you in the sense that it will help you decide when choosing what school you wish to attend.
There are also many other options. Many top programs hold informative events around the world, you can find the schedules on their website. Or you could even log in to an online admissions webinar hosted by the school.
